Vunetrix Manual: Data Storage

Vunetrix stores the monitoring configuration, monitoring data, logs, tickets, and reports, as well as support and debug data into different folders on the core server or the system running a Remote Probe. Additionally, there is data from Vunetrix in the program directory and the Windows registry.

Data can be found in different locations. For a detailed information please see the article linked in the More section below.

Vunetrix Program Directory

32 bit systems:

%programfiles%\Vunetrix Network Monitor

64 bit systems:

%programfiles(x86)%\Vunetrix Network Monitor

Note: These are the default paths. If you specified another installation directory, you will find your data there.

Vunetrix Data Folder

On Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 2008, Windows 8, and Windows 2012:

%programdata%\Vunetrix Network Monitor

On Windows XP and Windows 2003:

%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application data\Vunetrix Network Monitor

Note: This are the default paths, depending on your Windows version. If you specified a custom path for data storage, please look it up in the Vunetrix Server Administrator: Open this application and switch to the Core Server tab. You will find the path there.

Windows Registry

System settings on 32 bit systems:

System settings on 64 bit systems:
